Insights from our Executive Director 

This year feels like it’s going to be a fast game, but a good game for the biotech sector! I am incredibly positive about the reception from the new Government and its associated agencies regarding gene technologies regulations and their updating.  
 

However, I don’t think we will strictly see a biotech strategy focus. We need to determine how we stand out in the crowd, as part of the Government’s tech sector growth focus. One step towards this is to help ensure everyone in the life sciences sector attends our forthcoming Summit. We need to continue to show the scale and importance of biology and its integral role within technology.

Life Sciences Summit 2024 – True science, real change

In five days we’ll be opening Aotearoa New Zealand’s 2024 Life Sciences Summit – True science, real change and we can’t wait! We’re hosting hundreds of delegates, 50+ inspiring speakers,  15 in-depth breakout sessions, four engaging panel discussions, two full days and one Life Sciences Summit dinner.
